Hello,
I am a foundation nerd - red and lumpy skin!
On the cheaper side, I would recommend Max Factor for coverage. Either Lasting Performance or Color Adapt. Both cover well, good match for different skin tones and inexpensive.
I have a "going out" foundation which is Lancome Photographic foundation. A little more pricy but has excellent coverage, gives a flawless finish. This foundation covers all sins, although be aware that correct blending is essential (round the jawline especially). I also have their loose powder to set it but I'm not as impressed with the powder. Try Corn Silk natural loose powder to give the "glowing" finish. This powder actually seems to shimmer in direct sunlight - lovely.
The Lancome foundation is quite thick (use clean sponge or fingers) but can look totally amazing, magazine perfect, if you apply correctly. I only use for special nights out because of the price and time to apply.
Hope this helps!

Try Prescriptives Flawless Foundation. Since beginning to use it a month ago, it really has improved the look and feel of my skin, so much smoother, like a baby's and doesn't even look as if I'm wearing foundation! It's a great base for applying blusher and bronzer too, as well as eye shadows and eye liner. Also, I have oily skin and now I don't even need to touch up with powder throughout the day.
I love prescrirptives foundations - they really take time to analyse your skin to find the correct colour and formula for your skin. If none of their 30+ shades match you, they'll even custom blend a foundation to match your skin exactly! You can also decide if you want sheer, thick, matt, moisturing coverage etc, they'll blend it exactly how you want it.
You can buy Prescriptives from John Lewis, House of Fraser, Selfidges. This Flawless Foundation was about £28. It will last you ages. Definately worth it!

I'm with Chickette on this one. Boots intelligent foundations are great. My skin is blemished to f*ck but this gives great coverage. Last time I was in UK I found that they have a new mousse version, which is even better than the other liquidy stuff. Only three shades to choose from and the colour adapts to your face so you can't go wrong. I use medium cos I have a light, Asian colour. Use with a light reflecting concealer, bit of blush and Bob's yer uncle!

Pure make-up by Maybelline applied with a clean, damp sponge.
I have used stuff like bare minerals but the coverage is not as
good as they say, butt this cheaper make-up by Maybelline
works!!! Use a damp sponge because finger-tips and hands
are not good for your skin.

Celebrities have make up artists that have spent years working contained available. that's truly ordinary for make up artists to make the celebrities complexions appropriate (my goodness, a number of those variety of artists can turn a guy right into a women individuals or black to white etc.). In photos Celebrities are additionally in many situations airbrushed and so which you heavily isn't waiting to attain a appear like this. i could advise going into between the shops and chatting with a make up artist at between the Clinique stalls. they are going to be waiting to learn your skin and aid you comprehend which beginning up could in shape you suitable. I constantly be conscious a mosturising cream earlier I placed beginning up on because it makes the liquid sit down on my face easily and would not reason blotching. stable look.
