As a child I lived in about 900 square feet of living space with 4 people and then 1500 square foot with 6. Right now its 1990 but I think its way too big we will move to someplace smaller in a year or two. I like small homes they are much easier to maintain yourself.

Most people who live in a house have been burgled at least once before. It's too easy to break a door/window or climb down from the roof. A house is usually bigger, very high maintenance/ cleaning/mowing lawn/painting, etc. So, to me an apartment has always been much more appealing

A house the size of the one my parents own would be fine. It's a Dutch colonial style with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. (It's not as big and fancy as it sounds, trust me!)
