Who do you love/hate WITHIN your political party or ideology?

I love Russ Feingold, Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama, Dick Durbin, Howard Dean, and Nancy Pelosi
I could do without Charlie Rangle, Ted Kennedy, Joe Lieberman, and John Kerry

I think our polititians act downright civil when compared with the rest of the world. Ever watch the Prime Minister address Parliment in the UK? It can be a madhouse. I don't think they should act like Springer rejects, but if they are passionate about something, there should be no shame in gettin worked up over it.

Many hats in the ring are to be expected tho. Bush I and Gore were basically running as incumbants, so this is only the first time since 76 that the field has been truly open for both parties.

I don't know enough about McCaskill, but Sharpton is a good call. That guy makes us libs look bad.

I am not into character assassination. I would like to see Americans require higher levels of cooperation from both sides of the aisle.

Americans currently are expecting their politicians to act like Jerry Springer rejects. This is only making America look bad.

Look at the new Congress. How many hats in the presidential ring, now? Shouldn't they be interested in something besides the 2008 elections?

I could do without Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and Pat Buchanan, and Chuch Hagel and the rest of the surrenderers have dropped precipitously in my estimation.

Other than Rick Sanctorum and others like him, I've little enthusiasm for the majority of GOPers.

As a leftist, I can't stand most of these loudmouth celebrities who claim to be liberal. Their smug self-righteousness is sickening.

I'm not too fond of Al Sharpton or Claire McCaskill (D- MO) either.
