One that merely puts on performances that are "on the road" and has no artistic input. I.E. a rental venue.

It's a room with lots of seats (facing the stage).

Most theatres run their own performances,
but some are just venues in which other organisations may
(for a cost - the ticket revenue is spread & employees of both orgs must coopeate) perform.

The question is does the same company that administers the venue also look after the actors?.
