Yeah, good question.
With the World Cup only mere months away, we should be playing ODIs rather than Test matches.

The difference between Tests and ODIs is quite large and requires a completely different approach.

The fault lies with the International Cricket Council, who in their infinite wisdom, have decided that we should play a greater amount of Tests than what we should be playing.
SA Cricket should have taken a stand against this and at least enquire about the possibility of playing more ODIs before the WC starts.

Hi Porgie,

How was your time in SA????? Welcome back to YA!!!!

Well, come to think of it, it is good for them to play in tests as well, field work, concentration ect.....

One day is more action, they must be clued up every minute every second of the day.

Do not mistake, test cricket is not for sissies. That is why some of the Proteas do not play test cricket. It is all about how they handle fielding, handle the batting ect..

I absolutely live for cricket!!!!! My personal opinion is just that the Captain should rather join a ballet team, then SA will be great...!!!
