Peyton Manning cant win a Super Bowl title but, the Indianapolis Colts can. And not only do I think they can Im pretty sure it will come Feb. 4, 2007. You can talk talk talk about a curse there is no such thing. A team can get up for any game. Was New England better than the Colts the two years they beat them in the playoffs? Well if you look on paper the Colts should have won both of those games. Thats why they play the game The Colts offense is far superior than that of the Bears thats no secret. The Colts defense we have seen in these playoffs is better than the Baltimore Ravens. The Bears defense is good but it stops there. If you look at paper the Colts will win. It will take more than a bruised thumb to keep Peyton and Co. from hoisting the Lombardy trophy Feb. 4.

I do think that Peyton can win a super bowl for many reasons. He is a great qb and while I'm not a fan of the colts, I still respect his play. As in the AFC Championship game, he brought the colts back against a Patriots defense that was really good. The other factor that contributes to his winning is the offense of the bears. If they give up many turnovers, as long as Peyton and the Colts take advantage of that, he will win. And about the thumb, he played with it during that game, he can play threw this one. He gets more resting time.

Can he? Yes
Will he? Of course.

The Colts will have a slow start against the Bear's strong D, but after about 7 game minutes, Manning will have figured out their strategy and start putting points up. Just like he did against the Patriots and Ravens, both of which have far better defenses than the Bears, and far, far, far better offenses that the Bears. Remember how the Pats-D started falling apart in the 3rd Q last week? Peyton completely wore them out physically. Look for the same thing in the Superbowl. Those big boys can't keep up with a no-huddle offense for long.

As for this non-sense about Peyton not winning, but the Colts. Its, well, nonsense. Peyton is the team captain. Everything revolves around him. The D's job is to get him the ball, the O's job is to let him play the ball. When Manning gets upset and frustrated, they loose games. When he keeps his cool, they win games. It IS a team effort, but the team is only going to be as good as their captain.

Yes, I think Peyton Manning can win a super Bowl title but it will take a total team effort , that is a good running game ,pressure on Grossman(I think he can be rattled with some stunts by thr linebackers and confuse the defensive pattern ). ,and avoiding turnovers. I think Peyton must get off to a good and fast start and put Chicago behind early because the Colts defense can take a control of the game and take pressure off him and the Bears will have trouble coming from behind.

There is a big difference between 'can' and 'will'. He can either perform like the Boston Red Sox of 2004, and carry his momentum into the big game and dominate, or he will perform like the Denver Broncos of the 80's, and flounder after the layover.

Let's face it, Peyton will play in many Super Bowls. This year he will fall short against a stingy Bears defense, but he will win a couple before it is all said and done.

If you're referring to the upcoming Super Bowl, then, yes, Manning will lead this crop of Colts to a victory. Of course, they're going to do it against a very undeserving Bears squad who topped a weak NFC.

In a perfect world, the Colts would face the Chargers or Patriots in the big game. Unfortunately, they are all in the AFC.

Peyton Manning will never win a Super Bowl... He chokes in big games...
He never won a High School State Championship, or a National Championship in college, nor did his brother... Neither did Archie, but he wasn't that great anyways...

Manning Family:
0 High School State Championships
0 BCS National Championships
0 Super Bowls

It's a Manning curse...

Yes he will. He's 10 times the QB compared to Rex Grossman. Grossman will be overwhelmed come Super Bowl Sunday.

I hope not this year. GO BEARS So far Manning has sucked in the playoffs. He's lucky the Colts have a running game and a good defense. He's also a whiney crybaby like when he blames his offensive line for his own screwups.
