This is because of the force of gravity.

Earth isnt in oval shape. Its almost a sphere with little imperfections. The reason why u dont fall is:
1. The earth is very very very large as compared to a human. A bacteria can surely stay on a watermelon without falling though watermelon is a sphere.
2. Another reason is gravity. It makes to walk & stay on earth. If not for that, people would be floating.
But the huge difference between sizes of human & earth is the main reason.

The earth is not an oval... the scientific term for it's shape is an oblate spheroid. This means that it has a slightly greater circumference on the equator that on any given line of longitude. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "why don't we fall?" but if you're asking why we don't fall off the planet then is is because the earths natural rotation creates a gravitational field that pulls on all objects at the same rate of acceleration (9.8 m/s squared at sea level) which keeps our feet firmly planted on Terra firma.

BTW This is basic 7th grade Earth Science.

Every thing on the earth is pulled towards the centre of the earth radially, this force is called gravitational force.

Imagine an elastic rope is tied to every one on the earth to the centre of the earth, so that we dont fall, but can move a bit free here and there or up and down a bit.

It is fun to think, the elatic rope (gravitational force) allows us to move anywhere we want, but ultimately must come back to the surface, whether it is a man, bird or aeroplane or any matter on the earth!

Only in the case of space rockets, the downward thrust exerted by the rockets against the gravitational pull is higher, hence, it snaps that elastic rope (gravitational pull) and goes in to the space!

Although the earth may not be perfectly spherical, I would hardly call it oval. Natural gravitational forces are more than capable of keeping us from falling off. People pondered the same questions when it was believed that the earth was flat.

The Earth is not an oval, even in the two-dimensional sense (the correct term is an ellipse). The Earth is an oblate ellipsoid, with a slight bulge at the equator and slightly flattened poles. We don't fall because the soil and rock under us is more dense than we are.

Earth is technically an oblate spheroid. it is a little bit chubby around the equator because of the spin of the earth. A little like tossing pizza dough. Gravity pulls us to the center of the earth. the question of why dont we fall....well it seems like a bit of a vague question. BTW oval is an two dimentional shape.

The shape of earth is Bulged sphere. And we are not falling out of it only because of the gravitational force.
Any object inorder to escape from the earths gravitational force my be projected at speed of atleast 11.2 Km/s. This velocity is called escape velocity.

earth is not oval, but spherical in shape. due to the earth's gravitational pull, all remain balanced on the surface of the earth. hence, we don't fall.

Earth is almost a perect sphere. We don't fall because no matter where you are, gravity pulls you to the center of the sphere.
