Amy: bang out of order. Because of your mindset the church lawn on the corner of my road is no-go area for my toddler and others alike.

A woman by me, used to let her dog s-hit outside my house almost daily.
I took one of my toddler s-hitty nappies & left it on her doorstep, to see how she liked it.
Her dog has never done it since
I think dog owners who do not clean up the poo are disgusting!
I have a Great Dane so have to take a shovel & Carrier bag when i go walkies!!!! it's like cleaning up behind a elephant

Confiscate the pet for a week (or more?), fine and force their owners into doing community service - those irresponsible pet owners !! But the real problem is to have rules enforced, there just won't be anyone around who dare to report them, most of the time. I think this happens everywhere and no one likes walking thru poo alley, you can be sure of this.

I think they should not be allowed to have pets of any kind. If you cannot clean up after your pet, then you are not capable of looking after one correctly. I would fully support a "two strikes" and you are out system - we would need wardens and cameras to keep a look out, and the first time someone is caught not cleaning up after their dog, they are fined £500. If they are caught a second time - the dog is removed from them, and any other pets that are in the same house are removed. The owners are then blacklisted and are not allowed to own pets again. There is no excuse for allowing your dog to foul on the pavement. I also think that any person that is caught not cleaning up after their dog should should be investigated by social services. People who are not considerate enough to clean up their mess, are probably not doing a very good job of raising their children. Its time we stopped going so easy on these people.

i hate it, the owners should get a whopping fine, i cant stand cleaning it off shoes, so much so that they normally end up in the bin. i was brought up with dogs in the family and not once did we ever let them poo on the pavement, and dont you dog owners say "we cant stop them" thats rubbish, we always stopped ours! imsure these owners wouldnt like it if they kept stepping in it! they are lazy trolls who cannot be bothered to clean up the mess!!!!!!! aaarrrgghgh thats made me sooooo angry now!

it's out of order and the owner should be forced to eat the offending dog and it's turd, although i have once or twice had a laugh at some poor unfortunate scrapring the sole of their shoe on the kerb.

I think that people that do not pick up after their dogs are irresponsible. Ditto for people who let their cats run free to breed, spray and crap all over the place.

Spay or neuter your pet, it is the right thing to do>

It makes me wish I knew where they lived so I could return it to the owner. If they lost their wallet they'd want that back, so I figure why not.
