Yes, but often we don't realize it.Small things like 1. my grandchildren saying" Gramma I love you "while they give you a baby bearhug.. 2 A long peaceful walk ( think of the man who can't walk a step) 3. Bird chirping loudly a dawn ( I'm glad I can hear them ) 4 Somewhere safe and warm to sleep at night( I don't care if I have housework ,I can sleep with both eyes closed) 5.A choice of what to eat ( I don't have to dig in the garbage or beg). I could go on but you get the idea. Life is full of blessings we take for granted. Take a minute and imagine your life without these simple pleasures you take for granted.Countess people live without them for a lifetime. That is what the simple things are (at least to me)

Yes... Don't ever take the small things for granted to the point of losing them and then realizing the answer to this question was YES....
The little things as in, things money cannot buy... These are the things most valuable... And come in the form of tiny little arms hugging you tight, the fine art work that is created on printer paper your kids borrow endlessly, and looks absolutely adorable in frames.... Those kinds of things and the list goes on and on... ♥
And even appreciating your parents, even though they may have hit a lot of pot holes raising you... You survived it so thank them every day.... Hugs..... ♥

A smile costs nothing. It might cheer some ones day.
Talking to a little old lady for 20 minutes - will make her day.
Giving a £1 coin to a down and out for a cup of tea.
Remembering to pay a compliment or to say thanks when someone does something for you.
Send a card to the person you know lives on their own, without friends or relatives that you know of.
Say Please, Say Thanks, Make some one laugh. Be Kind.
Offer to give some one a helping hand.
Acknowledge the feel good factor on a sunny day, bird singing etc.
The dog that welcomes you with wagging tail so pleased to see you and offers unconditional love.
There tonnes more but I guess you could think of a few yourself.

Yes! A day of sunshine, a friend that calls, finding a quarter on the sidewalk, a sweet kiss, dangling your feet in the water, a good nights sleep, a smile from a stranger, finding your lost glove, your pet curls up in your lap, no bills in the mail today, shopping for something you really need & it's on sale!! Lots & lots of of little good things!

yes all the little things count for me, like waking up to see the smiles on kids faces, the funny things they do and say that we take for granted, these are the little things and they mean the most to me

Little is not the word..the word you're looking for is simple.
It is the simple things in life that are the 'big' things.

I would agree, like somone offering you their seat on the underground when you are really exhausted. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it feels so good and I always say thank you with a BIG smile
