Technically this is not possible since mobile phones (with which you create text messages) are not equipted to create a vaccuum suction powerful enough to break you down to your molecular level and transmogrify you into electronic components capable of existing in a binary digital environment.
However, some particle accelerators are now powerful enough to tear you down to the barest electron. It would be possible if you could create a hybrid between a mobile phone and particle accelerator and at the same time a plane of existence in which you could exist in this form
Bottomline: Not possible.

Haha, I loved all the answers so far!
Here is another thought. Binary code exists primarily as a digital wavelenght that is stored on media (magentic at this time, but perhaps will be something else in the future) and interpreted by computers, be they in the form of a desktop, cell phone, palm pilot, or other device.
Matter can theoretically be broken down into sub-atomic particles and transformed into energy. If you control the type of energy and give it a digital wavelength, you have now made matter into a binary digital existence.
I don't believe that things like concience can be made binary, and I don't know what would happen to the electrical patterns in the brain that was turned into energy, they would most likely be wiped.
Realistically, no you can't. In theory, it can be done, but something will most likely be lost in the translation.

When the time strikes for binary digital existence to kick in, rest assured that it can happen thru anything at all.. text messages included

This is a very real danger. In the old days when we operated at 300 baud there was no problem, but today the GB speeds can be deadly. Once in Cyberville you must carefully avoid the ASCII development as there are many hazards from the letters with sharp edges as opposed to the safe round ones. A period can knock an eye out. The "A", "E", "F", "H", "I", "K", "L", "M", "N", "T" "V", "W", "X", "Y", and "Z" are painful. Things are much safer in Binaryland where there are only ones and zeros. It also helps to have a rounded font with small pitches. Attached MPEGs and JPEGS can overwhelm you so those too must be avoided.

Electricity is a spiritual power. The electrical synapses in our
minds, that make the body work, come from spirit.
Supposedly, a spirit can get inside anything and experience what it is to be that thing. From a metaphysical theoretical
standpoint. It's possible.
