Not in the UK and not if the contract between employer and employee doesn't specifically address this point.
It would be in the form of a phrase "the employer X reserves the right to alter blahblahblah at any point without notice"
Beside which it is just not the "done thing" in terms of employer/employee relations.
As an employer of three staff I would not DREAM of it.

I had an employer once switch from a bi-weekly pay schedule to a weekly on and then back again. As long as you are paid for all work and there isn't an unfair lag time, I don't know any reason that they can't pay you when they choose.

If she doesn't pay you, you can sue her. Period. You don't win the lottery because you missed a paycheck. You will only get what is owed to you for the hours worked. You can't sue for late fees on your bills, overdraft fees, etc. BTW, you are now on notice that payday can change at any time.

Read your contract.
it will state in your contract what your pay date is. It will state in your contract if they are allowed to change your pay day.
If you dont have a contract they can do what they like
