Yes, one need not be dishonest to grow in business. Dishonesty may bring some short term gains but in the long run only honesty pays. Dishonesty also creates tension in mind which in-turn results in conflict between vested interests. In some cases it may even lead to violance. Vote for honesty.

No you may be dishonest with the customer for one time and earn more profit at that time, then that customer may not come to you again & he may tell about your dishonesty to the other people.
Therefore,i would like to say that honesty is the best policy & someone has rightly said it.

In any business's the bottom line is profit. That is the reason you at the end of the day are in business. How you operate your business and act with your clients will determine success or failure. If I am your client and you have proven to be dishonest in your transactions with my company, you will never see any of my business again. Honesty and integrity are not just words, it is who you are at the fundamental level as a person. If you choose to screw over clients or peers, it will come back to you tenfold in this day of information exchange and technology. Your business and personal reputation will become damaged beyond repair and you will be on the fast track to unemployment. Remember, with the Internet, your past is there for all to see.

Peace

Being honest - You ll be gaining in a slow process - but permanent - growth raises up steadily - in a long term basis.

Being dishonest - You may gain soon - but will not be permanent - growth is not assured - growth is short lived.

whether to get short term profits or profits in the long run depends on the character and outlook of the individual.

Above all - you may gain in both the cases, if u r clever and well in man management andcommunication skills.
