I am not married but live with an older woman who refuses to marry again. She's been married 5 times already. I have been with her longer than any other man. I have an overly large monthly government pension that will just stop when i die if i'm not married.

If i were to marry and even have children the pension would continue to be paid monthly to my widow the pension would grow larger if we were to have children.

Her daughter age 26 is single wants children but has yet to find a suitor, lately i've considered asking her to just marry me, without the children thing so this pension will have to continue to be paid for many many years after i'm deceased.

I'm one of those veterans who was exposed to a chemical agent for testing purposes and thus i draw a huge pension as a result.

Very interesting question. Quite a difficult subject. Firstly, would your partner object to you marrying her daughter? Would the daughter actually marry you? Would she have to STAY married to you after your death to continue to receive the pension? If so, what if she were to meet someone else and want to marry them? It is a very difficult question to answer, however I DO understand your reasons for wanting to do SOMETHING. Too right the government pay for as long as possible!!

The best solution would be for your partner to marry you. Have you explained your reasons fully to her? She need not change her name again - she can still be who she is. She doesnt need to wear a wedding ring, and it can be a very small wedding - just you two and her children!

I would try to convince her if I were you. I definately think that would be your best solution.

Good luck - hope you sort things out - and live for a long long time!!!!!!!!

That is fraud, any way you look at it. Don't do it.

Have to expressed you feelings about this to your gf? If you've been together that long, there's no reason why she shouldn't have those benefits when you're gone so maybe she will reconsider her stance on getting married when it's put to her from a logical standpoint (among other issues like making decisions regarding your health, estate, funeral etc.)

Have you mentioned this to the daughter? If it is something she wants to do and is comfortable with it then why not. I would talk it over with your partner first though just to give her one last chance to accept your proposal. I suppose if you dissect the whole situation it is dishonest but I don't see how it would be hurting anyone.

I say go for it.

what ever you have written is correct.,,, and just for the sake of the pension genuinely you are not interested these 26 yr old as your wife (wife means there would be sex),.,even after marriage with this girl you want to stick with her mom...if your answer is YES ..then go ahead.,if she is agree..(.both mom and daughter)

yes,it is crazy
do you really want the anaware son or daughter of a farmer in the middle of a field of corn or potatoes work and pay taxes to support someone who can carry on your vengence.
ask yourself, Why should that girl or boy pay ?
Do you say,"everyone should pay!"

If she has been married 5 times, what makes you think she'll stay with you.

So you expect this 26 year old to give up her life for your pension.

Crazy Idea.

i suppose it is admirable you want to care for her after your death but what would it prove,,yes you may love her but if she says 'no' thats it.lets be blunt here,,you will be dead, gone,,you wont know what she is doing with the money, you wont be there to enjoy it and it was you who 'earned' it so to speak and after your death you will no longer have need for the government to pay for their sins. live life for now and not what you can grapple over after you have gone. she will find a way to live without your money if she wants to.
