I'm looking for a user-friendly website that will show election results for the last several years nationwide for Senate and House of Representatives. I just want the district, candidates and vote totals. Ideally it would have a search feature by name or congressional district also. Any suggestions?

I am unaware of any such beast. It's more likely that you will have to search by State. The FEC has a website with contact information for each State's election division/commission. Each State has that information (usually) online. However, if you want information below the County level (precincts) then you'll have to dig in each County.

I had an same situation in my innovations. Like how we chanced on out 20 years after the Vietnam conflict become over, that the "Gulf of Tonkin" incident that all started the conflict... properly... It not in any respect befell. From Wiki: The Gulf of Tonkin Incident defined the starting up of wide-scale involvement of U.S. defense force in Vietnam. It turned right into a pair of meant attacks executed by technique of naval forces of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam) adverse to 2 American destroyers, the united statesMaddox and the united statesTurner excitement. The incident befell on August 2 and four, 1964 contained in the Gulf of Tonkin.[a million] the outcome of the incident become the passage by technique of Congress of the Gulf of Tonkin decision, which granted President Lyndon Johnson the authority to help any Southeast Asian usa whose authorities become considered to be jeopardized by technique of "communist aggression". The decision served as Johnson's criminal justification for escalating American involvement contained in the Vietnam conflict, which lasted till 1975. In 2005, it become printed in an authentic NSA declassified report[2] that the Maddox first fired caution photos on the August 2 incident and that there would were no North Vietnamese boats on the August 4 incident. The report stated [I]t isn't merely that there is a diverse tale as to what befell; that is that no attack befell that evening. [...] in reality, Hanoi's army become engaged in no longer some thing that evening notwithstanding the salvage of two of the boats damaged on 2 August.[3]
