partly yes but its a good source of cheap manpower/labor and thats a fact

It is not apparent that India in on the path of intellectual revolution. Certain classes of people are getting good education. But this is mainly to make them suitable for jobs.
True intellectual fervor does not seem to be on the rise. People are steeped in their own affairs. They don’t have time and space to think about world at large. They update themselves by not going through books but by watching the TV. There are some who are profound thinkers and such type of persons could be found in all ages if you glance at the Indian history.
