Well you need to know a bit about physics first.

Quantum computers use as their basis the qubit, not the bit, as well as 0 and 1, the quantum computer therefore has a 3rd option - a linear superposition of both states.

You could read about quantum computers online, how stuff works or probably wikipedia but you'd be better off learning about quantum physics first or you won't understand any of it.

the basics of quantam computers is parallel universe acc. to which there is another universe working along with ours scientist have not denied this fact of its presence, and are taking it as a base of quantam computing.
there are many online articles available for it you can try searching wikipedia or you can also try sept. or oct. digit magazine there was a article regarding to it.
