Boy oh Boy... Last time I recall hitting your spouse whether it was a male or female(men get abused too.) is wrong.. wrong.. wrong.. Now, I know how you feel.. One new years eve.. My husband had too much to drink and we were fist fighting in the car. I felt guilty because I hit him back but, I shouldn't have. We ended up in domestic violence court and he had to go to anger management class. Now, he is able to tolerate my b#$%^ing better. Seriously, if you and your spouse are at the point of physical violence. You need to ask yourself if you are willing to go to counseling. Getting a divorce is a temporary fix to a long term issue. You need help and a judge is not qualified for the kind of help that you need. So, seperate and get counseling or stay together and work out your differences. My spouse and I fight over chores all the time but, it does not result in violence. Think..

Two wrongs don't make a right. If your spouse starts hitting you, walk away. Nothing good comes out of staying and taking it. Once your spouse is approachable, counseling may be in order to determine what the next step is.

Good grief, you guys should not be fighting over anything..........there are compromises, ect. Are you two no longer happy with each other? Is this the only time this has happened? You both really need to get some counseling if you are going to stay together. Ben is right though, you should not hit a girl. And it takes 2 to keep the household running..............My better half hasnt figured that out either..........very frustrating I know but I would not have a knock-down drag out over it.

Well first things first, a man should never hit a women, that is assault!! Also you say that the fight was over household work? that shouldn't be a issue, you could help her do some house work. Myself I work 8-10 hours a day and I still have time to come home and help my wife with some house chores. Maybe on one of your days off you can do the chores all by yourself. That way she doesn't feel like she's the only one that does house work.

You both need to get away from each other ,before one of you kills the other . get a divorce whatever but get away from each other . I know when my ex started hitting I got a divorce and never went back ever . i did not want my kids thinking that this was the way normal people live . I mean it if you both are hitting and your kids are seeing this they will grow up to think that this is the way nomal people live . Please do something before your kids see all of this . good luck .

domestic violence is wrong and is against the law. You could've both been hauled off to jail for this incident.
You should walk away----take a chill---leave the area----Come back only when you know things have cooled off. If you don't you'll be sitting your butt in jail with a misdemeanor on your record!

Don't you ever tolerate someone hitting you. Make him seek counselling or leave him. Nothing good will come out of the fighting.

Hitting is never ok. Seek counseling, or get a divorce.
