I hear the best place is Boracay. Great beaches, beautiful scenary and nice people.

well, as a Filipino, i would say that there are many places here in the Philippines that are beautiful and belong to best places as well. Just for instances, the wonderful beaches like Island of Boracay, Subic and Puerto Gallera, and places like Cebu & Davao. Even in Bohol where tarsiers can be found & Baguio which is the summer capital of the Philippines. Palawan, where coral reefs are great,Tagaytay, Batangas & in Bicol where you can see a perfect coned volcano which is called Mayon. And, historical places like Vigan, Ilocos Sur and the great Banaue Rice Terraces. Yearly, thousands and thousands of tourists come & visit Philippines to have vacation in the said places. Some stayed here and got married to Filipino men/women. And indeed, Filipinos are known for being hospitable and kind. So, want to try visiting Philippines?..hehe..just asking..(^_^)

You have to visit Vigan and Bantay, you don't have to worry these two places are just neighbors, you just need a tricycle, if you don't have a car or a bicycle. You don't need hours to go from these place to that place. You know, Vigan and Bantay is the best place to visit when you are in the Philippines. It has beaches, the heritage, you can ride in a calesa while you are looking at those antique houses and you may also buy souvenirs, while in Bantay, you can see the bell tower, it is beautiful. you can take your very own picture beside it you can also climb the stairs in the bell tower. Baluarte is also a nice place, it has animals and it is owned by our governor.

I'm a Canadian national and I've gone to the Philippines many times as a tourist. I'm really excited and happy to discover some wonders which I have not seen in our place...and I physically experienced that the most liveable, lovable, peace-loving and respectable people in the Philippines is found in BOHOL. So, I decided to migrate from Canada to Bohol because of its wonder (Chocolate Hills), Cave of the legendary Francisco Dagohoy, white beaches which are rare to be found in the western countries, dolphin and loving natives.

Baguio City if u fancy a not-so-cool-but-not-so-hot place! its perfect 4 summer..(its d summer capital of philippines)
Boracay if ur looking for beaches..
Hundred Islands for amazing explorations of nature...
actually there are really lots of beautiful places in Philippines!

Natural places of intense beauty are just effortlessly wonderful and extra lovable.
Manila is charmingly chaotic which makes it alive and real, true experience is riding the jeepney.

Manila. Crazy.beautiful.colorful.noisy.breathtaking sunsets.delicious food.rocking parties.cheap thrills.entertaining politicians.entertainers in politics. You'll never get bored in Manila. :)

if you like to party - Cebu is your place.
if you like water sports - Palawan
if you like surfing - Siargao (powerful reef breaks in cloud 9... right and left)
if you like busy hubs - manila (i don't like that place)
if you wanna go local - Mindanao (a danger zone though)
i personally recommend Cebu and siargao
