Sometimes manufacturer's and colleges sell their year old equipment at special sales. I bought my baby grand for $3800 through one of these, and list was $7800. Even though it was used, it was in perfect condition. I had to dicker-and-deal from the asking price of $5000, but I offered cash and to haul it myself. Took it home within an hour after purchasing.
