I have no idea how to open it up to change the battery. There's nothing written on it about opening, but there is a little arrow. Does this mean anything? I don't know if it will close again if I just pry it open. Should I just go for it and open it however I can? I'm obviously not too handy, thanks for the help.

Usually you have to turn the back coverage in direction of the arrow. If you don´t succeed in doin´it with your two thumbs, you better go to a jeweler´s store or a watchmaker´s.They have special tools and they will not charge you,cuz it´s one or two seconds to do this job.

I wouldn't mess with it. Take it to Wal-Mart or some local mall and the jewelry/watch section will give you a new battery and change it for like $3-4. It's cheap, and you don't have to risk breaking it.

Take it to a place like Walmart or Kmart and they will change the battery for you for just a couple of bucks. Why risk ruining the watch.
