I have exactly the same thing at 31 weeks so don't worry.
Apparently colds and runny noses can feel worse and last longer when you're preganant - partly because you can't take the cold remedies like asprin and partly because you body is working hard with the growth of the baby. I usually have a cold for 3-4 days and have had one for the past 4 weeks. aching, tired etc. I have been to the doctors twice and they are very relaxed and just say it is very common to get bad colds in pregnancy. The virus cannot pass on through the placenta to the baby so you don't have to worry the baby will suffer at all.

On the positive side by the time we get to 38 weeks it will have gone - it would be much worse to have it when you're in labour or in the first few weeks with a new born - or maybe we are lucky!

Take paracetamol, steam in a bowl of hot water with something like Vics ( you local pharamcist will advise which products you can use) and just rest up. Be gentle with yourself!

Your doctor is right. The only thing you can do is to drink plenty of fluids always! Treat it like a cold. Take some sudefed or tylenol cold. When you are pregnant your hormones are running high and sometimes this gives you cold symptoms. I was sick with a cold for about the first 5 months of 2 of my pregnancies. Your baby will be fine. Just don't take any meds. your doctor doesn't tell you to.

I know all docs are different, but mine said I could take suddifed when I got sick with my head cold, which included either a stuffed nose or relly runny and this drove me crazy cause I couldn't sleep. My baby is just fine and my nights are a little better, at least I can breath. I would say ask your doc and see what he says.

convinced, each and every of the time. I stay with my husband precise on the border. we've a huge piece of land that the coyotes go with to apply for years now. After my husband became shot at, we had to replenish on guns. it is conflict in my personal outside. i'm initially from S. Dakota, I have relatives in Texas, and California. My kin tell me each and every of the time about the various of vehicle injuries through unlawful less than the effect of alcohol drivers, hit and runs of their factors, and only undeniable stupidity on the wheel. those people don't have motive force's licenses or vehicle insurance, so that you recognize that they are not examined for utilising competence and good eyesight. they're only injuries waiting to take position, in the experience that they get harm they bypass to the medical institution on taxpayer dime, we ought to pay to deport them--again, and they sneak lower back in and repeat the same bull all once more desirable. Illegals ought to get the shortcoming of life penalty in the experience that they kill an American civilian, coincidence or no longer and were in the previous deported. I propose executed, hastily. end the cycle. that is rediculous.

Buy some tiger balm...its with he icy hot and stuff like that. It comes in a little jar like carmex....my OB recommended it to me when I had a sinus problems with my first pregnancy. I used it one night and it unclogged my nose! And I've used it ever sense and rarely use medication now. Just rub a little under your nose before you go to bed. Also Try the SUDA CARE shower tablets...those are wonderful too. Between the 2 of them you should be totally fine in a couple days. I hope you feel better.

Your baby is fine gurlie!
Whenever my mom and my sister got cold symptoms, all they were able to do was have a box of tissues next to them.
My mom would always have a vaporizer next to her with a bottle of vicks to sniff.
Put some vicks under your nose to help you breath and rub some on your chest. It will help you breath a little easier.
Take some REGULAR tylonal. Will help you some also.
But other than that you will be alright.
