1) yes, 0, -2, -4, -6 . . . are even numbers.
2) negative integers are multiples of the same numbers that their positive values are multiples of, like -6 is a multiple of 3.
It is not useful for us to say that -6 is a multiple of -1, or of -3. Every integer is a multiple of -1, and the integers 3, 6, 9 . . . are multiples of -3.
