You're best to try them on, try one size smaller and then your normal size to compare. I would not wear them without socks as feet STINK to high heaven when you wear shoes without socks. Type UGG into google and search for a UK web site, they should list all stockists of UGG boots in London.

When I bought my Uggs, I bought them a size bigger, just in case. But it really doesn't matter if you buy them bigger; no one can tell ;)
