I had my baby two weeks ago and since then have had a good recovery....almost all of the baby weight came off naturally with breastfeeding, but my fingers and hands are still stiff and swollen. Is this norma? I want to wear my wedding rings again and I am not sure if I should get them resized or if this will go down on its own.

You should probably have you doctor look at that. I know when I was discharged, swelling was one of the symptoms i was supposed to call them about if I had it afterwards. Or at least call them and ask them about it.

Did you have the swelling while you were pregnant as well? I had bad swelling in my hands and fingers during both my pregnancies that actually led to carpal tunnel syndrome. If this is the same swelling you had during your pregnancy, it's normal. I was told it could take up to six weeks for all the swelling to go down. Just try to cut back on salty foods and drink lots of water. If it is new swelling, you probably need to let your doctor know about that.

It took about 4-5 weeks for my swelling to disapear. Your fingers & hands will go back to normal. If you are still concerned about the swelling see your Doctor.
