School and memorizing stuff does not make you a person. Life experiences and learning makes you a person. I met alot of people in University who were predictable and studied hard at remembering stuff instead of appreciating the art of digestive learning.
Sadly alot of students sit and remember things back to front and not digest information the way it is supposed to be absorbed. Its sad to hear you met such a person.
You can ask a Dr or even a professor about something so general and they might not be able to answer.

I have no idea and really i have nothing useful to add to this conversation but since you threatened me with bodily harm (which I might enjoy) if I didn't start answering your questions, I thought I'd at least ramble on for a moment. So........happy Wednesday Lucky! :)

I am full of admiration for young folk who study and obtain their degrees in whatever but for years i have always had the feeling that all the studying that has to be endured tends to dampen the wit and general knowledge of current events and could cause a person to be regarded as dull so i imagine that life adjusts a person to recoup their originality as they get older, and then tell you that "meant" is all one word and your question mark is inappropriate

Education and pieces of paper are two different things. Sounds like English may not be their first language, or they have a limited IQ.

I came accross a fully qualified Solicitor (Lawyer) who did not realise that the months were of varying length. Now that was scary.

Well, there are a lot of liberals with PhDs who think communism can work. Obviously, book learning and scholastic achievement do not necessarily convey wisdom or broad-spectrum intelligence.

well there are two ways to achieve in school. One is to learn how to learn the other is to regurgitate what ever the teacher tells you. I college the latter sometimes works better.
