No train from Chennai goes to Bangalore via Hosur. Only trains Coimbatore via Salem to Bangaore touches Hosur. You can check this map. http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/maps/all_india.htm

No train goes in that sector.
Chennai and Bangalore are connected over Hosur road or Old Madras road from bangalore. The first road only takes you to Hosur from Bangalore, its just 40Kms away from Bangalore Electronic city.

Trains between chennai and bangalore do not pass through hosur. Only trains between salem and bangalore come in that route.
