The spring season emphasize on vibrant colors.
For the working class guys, you might want to add a duo color long sleeves into his closet and for bottom stick to light grey (not charcoal) instead of black pants .
For those who are still surviving puberty, stick to coat/blazer (outer) and "loud" tee-shirt (Inner). Bottom, please pair up with jeans (no holes) and sneakers for foot wear.
Accessories:
It is a common "ritual" for guys to have a piercing. Last year fashion was "diamond" earring/stud. This year is going for simplicity. Choose a small stud of a single color will do the trick.
Tote bags are still in but you might want to consider gym bags (eg. the latest design from puma or everlast). Perhaps to strike a work life balance in the new year but I must admit, as a guy I am too lazy to pack my bag so something to fit all in will be nice :)
The trick here is mix and match according to season and try not too spend too much on Spring and Summer as the hot dry spell practically will force guys back to tee-shirt, shorts and slippers. You may want to consider investing a pair of sexy board shorts or swimming trunks to spice things up for the coming weather.
If the guy is a metrosexual you don't have to worry cos he knows what to wear.

Tights apparently, I was asking the good lady about her opinion on men in tights but she was too busy trying to take the clasp of my bra out.

apperantly leggings, but no man should ever put those on!!!!
i think a striped button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up with a hot pair of jeans...that looks totally hot!!! go for it!
