Im verging between number 1 and 2 really. Because even though i basically watch anime every night and read some manga early in the morning. That kind of thing might not last with me despite that ive been into anime for almost 10 years.

It was my father that first got me into anime back in the early 80's and I've been hooked ever since.
Strange thing is... some of the shows that came out back in the 80's are still have continuing story lines now. lol
And old skool anime heads get more of the jokes on Adult Swims Robot Chicken.

When the american tv stations were slow to air new episodes of an anime I was watching... I would go to the deepest, darkest corners of the internet to find new episodes instead of waiting.
Like when they showed 3 seasons of Dragonball Z straight through and then STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN before airing new episodes... Oh! But before that I use to wake up at 6:30am every Saturday morning to watch DragonBall and Dragon Ball Z on the local tv station. lol

If I'm not watching an anime series... doesn't matter what it is... could be anything... I feel kinda empty inside. I can't remember a time in my life when I haven't been keeping up with a series. Like... I can link anime series with my life timeline...

Trigun - My first apartment
Azumanga Diaoh - My first steady girlfriend.
Earth Girl Arjuna - The first time I fell in love.

I am very picky though I do not like most Anime. Berserk, FMA are my favorite Don't believe me I have the complete DVD collection of all of them and the movie. In my opinion FMA series is the greatest of all time, even friends that never watch anime will sit down & watch & everytime they come over they want to watch more.

I'ma #1 but i'm a broke anime fan. My brother always told me its a rich kids obsession because eventually your gonna want more unless you have selfcontrol. and i hav eno selfcontrol and no money, any cash i get goes into direct investment of anime dvds, manga, and a lil merchandise. but i never thought of myself as diehard until I started dressing up as my fave character for halloween and wanting to find more excuses to wear it as an everyday thing..... but i can't lol

i'll be in the number 3 category. i don't watch anime or read manga comics but i find the art or drawings or whatever you call it very cute and detailed. so i kinda like anime a bit because the drawing are really nice. :]
