My ambition in life was to try to change myself; to become someone far greater, stronger, prettier, smarter, more intelligent, quite knowledgeable and very likable person; someone remarkably different than whatever I was then. And yes, I tried to follow my ambition quite earnestly, and as a result of that I feel as if I am becoming whatever I was to be anyway, nothing better than that, or prettier, or smarter but just almost the same; as a matter of fact I feel as if I am getting to know less and less about myself as I become more of myself. This is why I am here, in the philosophy section, which most certainly was not a part of my early ambition; instead, I wanted to live in a beautiful house in mountains by a beautiful lake and write poetry for real.

My ambition when I was a child was to be a nurse.
Although I did a Pre nursing course at college I never went any further than that because I have chronic arthritis of the spine which flared up around that time and then ruled out heavy lifting.

Everything has clarity and definition, and there is variety as well. You're in a relaxed position indicating that you feel strong and confident about the way things are progressing. The sun feels good and colorful butterflies surround you. These are all the options and opportunities that you have right now, and they are plentiful. They can also signify the people in your life right now. Bright, energetic and beautiful, you are surrounded by positive energy from most every direction. This is a wonderful time for you where you are the one who's in charge of your life, and things are going extremely well. Seize some of those opportunities

My ambitions are to find true love, help as many people as I can, become well recognized and liked by many, and have fun and freedom. So far, I have tried all of them only to be restrained by lack of resources and fate. I have had the least success on getting someone (specifically one person) to love me back.

Yes eventually after going around the houses a few times. I'd always wanted to work in a library but life got in the way plus I got sidetracked. In my 40th year (life begins at this age) I got a job in a library and then realised 'oh this is what I always wanted to do and now it's just happened and I can't believe it!'

I always drew well even in infant sch. classmates would queue for me to draw their favourite Thunderbird vehicle. By 14 I wanted to be the person who designed record covers, the posters you saw in the street, ads you could see in the papers and mags. When I found out these were commercial artist ,it's what I said to my career teacher (at 15) was what I wanted to be. She had advised those in the queue ahead of me what subjects to study, where to apply for course etc. With me she was totally dismissive saying 'it's highly competitive, you have to be super at English and Art' without checking my credentials 'Next!'
The upshot was I got 'A' level Art at 16!Went to St Martins Sch of Art and became exactly what I wanted to be.Producing posters and TV ads for UK and Europe for over 20years. So basically the advice is, if you have talent,a passion for your subject and enthusiasm -don't be put off by those career advisers out there (I'm positive that they are not in the job they dream of!)
