As far as technology is concerned, no one can beat IBM. Now IBM is merged with Lenovo.
As far as price is concerned, Dell is better. When you compare Dell and Lenovo, you might find Dell a little cheaper. But I still prefer Lenovo. I have recently bought Lenovo 3000N100 Notebook. Its awesome.
As my personal experience of using laptops for more than 4 years, I will strongly suggest you not to go with HP or Compaq. They are lot cheaper but big headache. There are other brands available too in the market but can't come close to Dell and Lenovo.
Go for Lenovo. Its my personal experience.

Go for an Acer Laptop. It gives you value for your money. If you compare a Acer laptop with any other brand you will see the specification will be on the higher side and the price in the lower side. Their service network is also great.
If you are an holder of ICICI bank credit card there are easy EMI schemes. or through bajaj finance an easy EMI can be arranged.
Contact the Acer Mall in bombay
Visit website http://www.acer.co.in for models and specifications
http://www.acer-mall.com is a good site for knowing the prices

confident! i became gonna say in the previous examining that the AMD is greater for Gaming That Intell. The Turion is assume to be the terrific. and actually the previous AMD Athlon x64 is solid additionally so confident you have an mind-blowing setup for gaming. lots of room, My maximum recent laptop has comparable specs, different than I particularly have the AMD Athlon x64 twin middle as against AMD Turion x sixty 4 twin middle. interest away and function exciting...I although do no longer use mine for gaming yet needed the resembling a Pentium Processor as I particularly have used Celerons and that they each kind of wierd issues once you push them difficult. I upload a lot of Video and application with vast lots so i choose ability and a rapid connection velocity for super uploads or they're going to drop off for particular.

From working on laptops...I can tell you which I see the most of and that is Toshiba Satellites (and I have one). They seem to have the most problems with the power jack supply component breaking and having to be re soldered. I think everyone is right with the Dell choice or even Sony Vaio's are great not as price efficient as the Dell's.

dear ,
As per my opinion , laptop is not FOR ALL WORK, but just for office work or entertainment on the go ,, so ,, if you have 24 hour work or gaming please select a desktop ..
But , some laptops can beat desktops , too!! ,, there's no question on which company or cnet rankings , but it is with your buying purpose..
today most people buy 2 or 3 GHz speed processer , but you know my friend , man cant use EVEN its 10% !! , you will not able to do 10000000 counts in one second ,, right??
so ,, if you ask about a laptop that have low rates but technology ,, so i can imagine that you want low price high performance!! ,, right??
as well as my concern you should go to your LOCAL means your contury's laptop company that have all services like repair etc., and not high-fi or not poor-pi ,, because high-fi ones boasts TOO much , they didn care if you dont buy their laptops ,,
so buy the middel one ,, in this IBM AND LENOVO are at no.1 ,, if you buy refurbisheed IBM T23 ,, it will satrt in 10 second , and very fast ,, all all you need , not like sony vaio or other that takes 1-5 min to start ,, trust me ,, your life will happy with T23 ,,
DELL for students ,,
IBM for workers and officers ,,
HP for home and on the go ,,
so ,, trust me and my final answer is -
IBM T23 is with a very good technology and low rates ..
thanks , you can also contact me at
