Have booked a weekend away there in May for my husbands 60th birthday, all the family are going altho he dont know that, need to find out what the best places to eat are,any genuine suggestions would be helpful cheers.

Wonderful pub in Foxfield called the Prince Of Wales - micro brewery and great but quirky grub.
In Eskdale - the Woolpack Inn is also marvellous where the beer is concerned and does more traditional grub. (Plus you could do a brilliant low level walk from Dalegarth after a ride on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway)

Kirksanton is within easy reach of so many good places to eat that any list would be a million miles long. Try a search on Kirksanton and take your pick.
