When you leave the US and enter Mexico I don't think they record anything. When I go I just walk through some loud, clanky gates and that's about it. People that drive usually just drive straight in w/o stopping. No one cares if you go to Mexico, they care when you try to come back from it.

What do you mean by recording of departures? Who is departing?
