I dont think you need to worry about him going to jail. You are not mature enough to be a mother i don't care how fast you had to grow up.Your brain doesn't care what has happened to make you mature faster,it won't mature faster than its supposed to.You need to think about how you would support a baby financially and emotionally, and physically. You are living in someone else's house do u think they want to hear a crying baby all the time and support it cuz you won't be able to.Its people like you that waste tax payers money because you don't think about these things before you have a kid and then you have to get on welfare or the kid ends up in foster care which is paid for by tax payers or charity. If your so mature then you need to think about the long term and a 14 year old child cannot even come close to being responsible for another human being 24 7 ,7 days a week there are no breaks its a full time job and you can't just get a babysitter when you don't feel like taking care of the baby.A 17 year old child cannot provide the kind of life the child deserves either.I am 26 years old and its a full time job and there are no breaks and you can't just come and go as you please that is if you want to be a good mother.U are not capable of that right now.

I'm confused when you use the term "getting pregnant"...you either ARE or you AREN'T. Which is it?
If the boy was over 18, in most states, you'd have reason to believe he'd be charged and possibly go to jail only IF someone reports the situation and makes charges against him (like your parents, for example).
I really think THAT is least of your worries. At 14, it's going to be INSANELY hard for you to raise a baby. Especially if you don't have the support of a healthy family.
If you're NOT trying to get pregnant, then why not just get on birth control? It's free, in most states, at Planned Parenthood clinics. And don't give me the crap about "But I can't afford birth control and it's not free in this state" because a baby is 10 times more expensive than freakin birth control. And no crap about "But my parents will be mad if I go to Planned Parenthood or a gyno or get on birth control"...I guarantee they'll be WAY more mad if you get pregnant.
So good luck with all that...

Your present actions should not be influenced by what is in the past, They can't be justified by the fact that your parents are crackheads. You can only derive strength from the fact that you are going through something a child should not be...I don't know if you're parents are really crack heads...In fact, I don't believe you...What happened? You fought? Remember...They reprimand you because they love you, not because they don't want you to be happy. Sex is a serious matter...And at your age, Im 100% sure that you should not be having sex...Oh yeah...And for all the people who think this guy isn't going to go to jail just because he's a minor...He's 17, going on to 18, once the kid's born he's probably going to be admittable into jail...And jail isn't the only the place someone like him can suffer...What about Juvenile Prison? Don't abort the kid if ever you are pregnant...Give it up for adoption...It'll save the kid from having "Irresponsible" role models.

I doubt it. Lol, boy are you going to have your eyes opened by parenthood. There's no "off" switch, 24/7 for life. Don't put the parenting on the grandparents, it's YOUR job. Remind "dad" to get a job to help support his child too. Even if you split up he'll have support payments for 18 years. If you can't say no, then try using birth control ok? Kids shouldn't be raising kids. You can still do well in life, it will be just a bit harder now. Good luck

You are a child at 14 and you can't even get a job, why would you want to bring a child into poverty? You can't blame your parents for wanting a child, that is just an excuse. Wait until you are in your 20s before having a child, graduate school and get a job or go to college that way you can raise a child properly.

Yes. Sex with a 14-year-old is illegal in most places around the world. You should also worry about ruining your life (and possibly your health) by having a baby at 14!
If you feel the need to have sex at 14, use birth control, for FSM's sake!

You should be scared more of the fact that you're pregnant at 14. Just because your parents are crackheads is no excuse to act like an idiot. Pull yourself up, dump the bf, focus on school, and do better for yourself. Gawd, people scare me.

I can' blame you for not wanting to be at home with crack heads for parents. It's not your fault if your parents treated you bad and forced you to run away and hid. Don't listen to the snotty people on here. Sometimes people use this forum to just b*t*h at others instead of helping them. You need to be more careful in the future if you are in fact pregnant and you need to go to Social Services and get help. FIRST you need to resolve the hiding situation with your parents and have yourself removed from that house where drugs are.
Good Luck Amy A.
