People used to pride themselves in this value but it seems to have gone by the wayside.

As far as I know its still alive and kicking not as much as it used to be as you say but that's the way of the world we live in to day lots of the old ways of doing things are passing away some for the better and some not. According to the bible things are going to get a lot worst. Sons and Daughters will rise up against father and mother. Disobedience rudeness rumours of wars and earth quacks etc all are increasing and that's the way of it until Jesus Christ comes back. so Learn to live with it. we are all in Gods hands. All you can do is your part as you see it and leave the rest to God.

Today it is all about jumping on the bandwaggon
and it is mostly media led/fueled
morals have definately took a downward slide
over the last 10yrs or so (uk) its all about image
and being part of a larger group ,rather than a individualistic
opinion or approach.lol except on here QA

everyone looks after number one nowadays people tend to be more self centred and selfish.
