low rise jeans,are jeans that button or zip below the belly button, the lowest low rise jeans rest on your pelvic bone( these jeans tend to fall down a lot) there are pros and cons to low rise jeans
pros: they are attractive on people with toned stomachs, and guys like to see girls in them
cons: when you bend down to get something , either your underwear, or your crack shows , which can be very unattractive
note: if you are over 30 you probably shouldn't consider wearing them

They are cut to be worn low on the waist, the back of them usually end right above the booty and the front are low down from the belly button. You really have to be quite thin and have a flat stomach to pull of this style..

worn low on the waist. sit on the hips. very flatteing to most women, more so than high waisted jeans.

they come up lower on your waist. if you want to know how low they are look on the size chart at the store that you see them and it will say how low they are.
