that their would be less violence in this world if we destroyed all guns, weapons,bombs etc and made it illegal to be in possesion of them. Even goverment not allowed to use against other countries... If so why have they not done this yet?????!!!!!

a novel thought but i really don't think so. i do agree with the outlaws will have guns thing, but if we truly do away with any kind of device of the such we will have to destroy all the technology used in the production of these devices and all intellectual abilities about how to make them, because if we don't then weapons will turn up on the underground market, organized crime rings will sprout overnite and wage territorial wars for the technology to make weaponry. we also compromise too many other things that the technology is good for, such as rocket propulsion, fireworks, hunting, etc. i am a firm believer that guns don't kill people, people kill people. thinking that violence would decrease just because people don't have the means to do it efficiently is also not understanding of human nature. its a god given right to treat other people like dirt, and i always say that people aren't inherently nice because you don't have to go out of your way to be an @$$hole.

No, that won’t help at all to reduce violence. Prior to any such modern weapons there was violence.

Even if there was a real effort to get rid of such weapons it really wouldn’t happen. At most they would be removed from people who would use them responsibly or only in defense. Individuals who wanted to do harm to others would acquire them anyway. A gun or a bomb is really quite easy to make. All this would do is put nonviolent people at the mercy of violent people.

u may say if we demolish the concept of money, things would be better and man would treat others equal.....

no dear this development of power build up took not a few years or centuries... it has taken many era. Remember Mahabharta and Ramayana!!

All we have to pray and get stronger in is ...no to get rid of the weapons but learn to how to handle the power acquired by the posession of the weapon.

Before all the guns and other weapons, we used sticks, rocks and our bare hands to kill one-another. What is it that makes you think it would be different now.
Human nature has been constant throughout history and it will continue as it has whether we like it or not.
Actually, we've done pretty well in curbing the worst of the worst in us. Our violent nature has yet to live up to it's potential - given the sophistication of weaponry available to us.

Okay, now explain who is above "government." Who has more authority than "government"? Who can cause all of the governments in the world to stop using any guns, weapons, bombs, etc.?
