Gestation diabetes doesn't usually start to show until about 24-28+/- weeks. It sounds more like you are a bit dry from morning sickness/vomiting. It depends if you are tolerating fluids for a while or if they come straight backup. If you are not urinating much, this is one of many signs that would suggest you could be dehydrated and you should see someone. As for wanting water, as someone has previously mentioned, ice is a great alternative to either suck or chew on but don't go overboard or it will also come back up.
From both personal and professional experience- it will pass, Good luck

If this is the start of your pregnancy then it could be just the morning sickness or all day sickness as I like to call it as I was the same in the beginning of my pregnancy. If you are further on in you pregnancy it could be a definite sign of diabetes. Either way you should go to see your doctor as you may be dehydrated and need to go on a saline drip and if it is diabetes get something so that it will not harm you or your baby.

if u r getting dehydrated u need to go to the dr. to get iv fluids. my friend who is 7 mos pregnant was hospitalized 3 times due to dehydration since she first got pregnant. there is such a thing as severe dehydration during pregnancy but, i forgot the name of the condition.
did u try drinking water or other drinks at room temperature instead of cold?

I have a drink every night, and I always feel a lot better! If I don't have a drink, I wake up the next day feeling over tired with a headache! lol

Go to the doctor or emergency room now! It sounds like diabetes and if it is not balanced out properly quickly you could go into shock and die.

i was like that in the last few weeks. even worse when i was in lab-our and i was so thirst and if i had water i was so sick it was unreal but in the end they had to give me ice-cubes to suck. this stopped me been sick. i had icecubes and that was it right through my 4 days lab-our and after the birth i was on ice cubes for 2 days after. that's the only option to get fluids into your system
good luck hope it works xx

I had the same problem and the only thing that helped was cold lemonade...drink it slowly, sip by sip. Although it may increase acidity, but good for dehydration.
