1. Yes. Students take their teachers opinions as their own.
2. Teachers talk, students listen. They don't teach anymore. They assign homework to do, and give you the rest of classtime to do it.
3. No.
4. If you're like me, and you do, then you are sent to the principal's office as a troublemaker.

Well i finish my 12th last year and now in college. I find no difference. We are treated like adults.
1) The teachers are there just for the money , which means we get bad lectures.
2) Most of the time they just read from the text book .... something all of us can do at home.
3) We are never encouraged to do anything .
4) Most of them are not qualified to teach, how can they encourage debating ????

I don't think this is true. I think following is just easier than thinking, and so the majority of people default to following. Followers are easier on the teacher than having a classful of thinkers, too (-:.

Of course, the ideal situation is to have followers who can *also* think!

See how fast the students and parents would scream if the students were tested with open-ended questions that they could not study for.
