Seoul is the largest city in Asia (and the world) with 10.2 million.

And in response to GvChina's answer Chongqing is not a city it is a province within China or as Wikipedia calls it; "a provincial-level municipality".

In 2006 it was Seoul, South Korea, with the largest population in the world of 10,231,000. Bombay, India is #2 in Asia w/ 9,925,000.
