Gray is a neutral color, so you can get away with practically anything, I would think. Save for perhaps gray.
I'd probably go with something more colorful to offset the grayness of the gray.

White could be a good color. Otherwise, a light tone, like baby pink. Or, black is another option, but i think it's a little bit to dark.

with a gray knit wear a dark green, or navy ble. red and pink looks good to. you can always go with a pale cami or pale shirt. don't wear black tho, it is to close to gray, and dont wear gray!
