Not only that, but Santa is up to date. his sled is powered by a specially designed Rolls twin turbo engine for leaping from villiage to villiage round the country sides.
In going from continent to continent once he clears land he fires up a a Pratt-Whitney Jet engine and puts his foot down. He's at mach 3 in just under two seconds flat. The reindeer are used only for hops from housetop to housetop these days.
Thanks to the magic of Christmas started by a Christian leader so many years ago, Father Christmas, AKA St. Nicholas makes his rounds without the aid of flight suits or special equipment for his reindeer.
When Father Christmas puts his foot down, he really means business.
--That Cheeky Lad
LOL Debbiecat... impression, delusion, depression... it isn't the children at risk for any of these I would say...

The somatory of thoughts create an "egregorae", the Latin root of "church". Millions of children hoping and believing every year through the centuries really create this image of the good old man who brings presents, not exactly the Turkish bishop of the third century, Nicholas. Santa is a phenomenon of the Western world, although in many countries presents are given on January six, brought by the Wise Men. Myths should be taken seriously, from ancient gods to modern saints.

I'm Santa Claus and You've been a very restless boy all those years.. I know that you want for the next Christmas.. and I'll consider that.. You have to study very hard to become maybe a Doctor.. cause I don't like to much lawyers.. unless they could be a good dentist time by time.. You know.. On the North Pole we have too many lawyers and we need more dentists... But I know that you want to study Medicine.. I'm very sorry if I didn't bring you that red bicycle for your 10th Christmas ... but what about your blue one..? It happend because we didn't have enough red paint.. And remember that in Christmas Day we celebrate the Birth of JesusChrist .. The Son of God made human, being God too as our Father God.
You are a good person.. and you are going to have very good health and blessings to You and for all the good persons and to all your Family Forever. Because You are a very good person and You care too much about the others.
Now.. Go keep studying.. and be a good man as You already are.
I will consider that special wish you have for the next Christmas..
restless good boy.
And remember what is the Christmas meaning when you remember your beautiful name your loved parents gave you.
Now I'm going to get some sleep cause tomorrow I need to arrange my sledge.. with some wood and blue paint of the last Christmas...and no one of my reindeers pays me too much attention lately... maybe like some little not so little boys that I know... And Have a Merry, Merry Christmas All Of You on the World..! Ho.. Ho.. Ho.. Ho! Merry Christmas..!! Merry Christmas To All Of You..!!

I take exception to your doubts of my reality. Every year I drive my sled millions of miles to bring gifts and pleasure to the children of the world. Depressed children are helped out of it by me and my elves so forget any of your vicious rumours. Santa is real and living in the hearts of children everywhere.

If you mean that jolly fat person who can breakinto everyone's homes, leave gifts and doesn't think about taking anything of value to compensate him for his time and work other than milk and a few biscuits (sometimes beer), then he is real in the eyes of children up to a certain age because they still believe what their parents tell them.
