"Existentialist" - I cease to exist if I completely stop eating (Steaks, Lobsters, Seafood, Sushi, Sashimi, Russian Caviar, New York Pizza, Chicago Hot dogs, Peking Duck, Greek food, Italian food, Thai food, Mexican Food, French Novel Cuisine, ..........)! :-)

P.S. There you go AGAIN making me hungry - YOU BAD BAD ET! ... Is that why you folks visit Earth - to torture us with food question? ... You ain't thinking on "farming" humans as a food source, are you? Take all our cows, sheep's, frogs, ......, but PLEASE, PLEASE don't eat us. :-)

Food plays a large role in religions, which are life philosophies, I guess. -What not to eat -What to eat at certain celebrations -When not to eat (fast) In Buddhism vegetarianism is big Sharing food is a big symbolic gesture. In modern society one can take examples of food being a status symbol or globalisation (Mc Donald`s and crap). Mass produced food vs home cooked family meal. There is allot if you think about what you associate with different foods and what stands behind it.

Food is food, medicine is medicine.... do not like to mix the two..... in my philosophy good food is good food... necessary for sustenance and amenable for taste. Whatever satisfies the two conditions is OK and no need to worry regarding either health food or spiritual (vegetarian) food.

The index of intellect is how little proportion of our time, energy and resources we spend on food!!!

Seafood - eat it.

See food - eat it.

Never turn down free food.

But if you want to be thin:

Go low carb. / complex carb only (maximize.)
No Bread (esp. white bread),
No Sugar.
Minimum fruit or Fruit Juice.
V8
Lots of green Vegetables.

g Protein + g Fiber should be higher than g Carbs.

Eat raw (unprocessed) food only. Ther more highly processed.... the more it should be avoided / minimized in your diet.

Fix it yourself.
