In this context interim cash probably meant interim returns getting reinvested. Thats something like a monthly interest payment going back and adding to the investment in a 6-month recurring deposit.

You have to be more specific. Generally interim cash means that reinvestment of returns like interest or dividend with the principal amount. In this case the sentence means such interim cash will carry the same interest as that of the original deposit contracted.
