Yeah, great movie reflecting the violent realities of Africa unfiltered. Also good that they used African actors. I think Leo didnt do a bad job at all. The accent wasnt too far off the Zimbabwean English and his acting was good. Arnie Vosloo was his cool self.
I liked the message that we white Africans also have the African soil in our blood coz there's a lot of our blood in the African soil. Africa is, and will always be home.

Haven't seen it yet, will probably wait for the DVD since from the trailer it didn't look that great to me.
Leo's accent is appalling!! ("In America it's bling bling, but here it's bling bang" - now that's lame)
I heard though, like you say, that the movie itself is good.
It just sucks that, once again, a South African is portrayed as the bad guy in a Hollywood movie.
A good movie to go watch would be "The Departed" which has been nominated for an Oscar.

You are right, its pritty good, but too much violence. However, as the title suggests, diamonds are associated with violence and therefore it would have been unrealistic if there was no violence. As for Leonardo's SA accent, I think he tried his best, but still did not get it right! I would give him 7 out of 10.
