Yes there is a good chance you could be. Why not buy a home pregnancy test - some are accurate these days up to 4 days before a missed period so if you are now 8 days late the answer should be very accurate if you take it now. Some people try for a long time to conceive - just because you began trying only a short while ago does by no means mean you won't be successfull straight away! I hope you are & get the happy news you are wishing for! All the best.

I would hazard a guess at yes you probably are....early symptoms you may have experienced are needing to urinate more frequently, metallic taste in your mouth, Sore/tender breast and nipples and any sickness. If your periods are always regular and you are actively trying to conceive then I think you should run out to the pharmacy and grab a test....Some women have to wait a bit longer before they get a positive result dependent upon how high their levels of HCG are but my positive result showed up when I was one week late. Goodluck, hope you get what you want....let us all know if you are indeed Pregnant x

Easy way to find out is to do a pregnancy test. Quite frankly there is no other way of knowing for sure. Tests sensitivity differ at this early stage but there are certainly quite reliable ones on the market. Check this link below for some quite useful info on tests. Good luck!

you could be, the hCG levels if you are are rising rapidly, and is at it peak at 8 weeks. (Doctors count pregnancy weeks from day 1 of your last period as it is difficult to pin point the day of conception) Test tend to pick up from levels of 25, so testing from anytime now is fairly reliable. If in any doubt see your doctor for a blood test.

OH MY GOD why do people keep asking these questions? Am I pregnant??
How would we know? We are not (the majority of us!) psychic.
DO A TEST OR SEE YOUR DOCTOR... the only ways to know for sure.
There are a number of reasons why a period comes late or not at all, not just pregnancy or stress.

You could be but you also might not be. The best thing to do would be to take a test. Also not to be rude don't you think you should be getting married before trying to make a baby just a suggestion.
