You need a purpose in life! How about channeling some of those emotions into studying arithmetic and getting a higher score? That would produce a positive result and make you feel better about yourself. We all fail in life at times, it's how we deal with those failures that makes us a success.

I've failed tests badly on a few occasions. The way I dealt with it was to use it as a big wake up call. Thrashing the convenience store is not an answer. You can't change the past but you can change the future. Do some self evaluation and look at the reasons why you failed the test. Is the subject difficult to understand? Did you not study for it properly? Once you understand the problem, make some steps to fix it. For your next test, make sure you understand the work, and if you are having trouble, seek assistance. Do your homework and study well. On you next test, aim to get an above average score, and this will cancel out the failure. I have used this method on a few occasions, and everytime it has resulted in an above average score on the next test. As per the lack of friends in class, that is a secondary problem that will solve itself maybe next year. Your primary task is to improve your grades, everything else is secondary. Improve your grades, and your self esteem will improve as well. Use this as a challenge!

No reason to feel suicidal over a few jerks in your class.
You need to realize that this time may seem like it's going to take forever, but these people won't even remember you in a few years.
So you got a 4/20 on an arithmetic test...yeah, that's rough, but if you study a lot for the next test, imagine how much better you'll do...AND how awesome you'll feel if you can show people that you're smarter than they thought.
The fact that your best friends are in different classes is not a big deal, it's actually better in a lot of ways, because you will have them outside of school always...just remember that they're there for you, and that's what counts.

I finished school 17 years ago, and went through a time feeling just like you, never thought I'd ever get out of the deep depression I was in, and how bad things were. Please take one day at a time, I'm now in a job I love, have a wonderful hubby & lovely kids & home, when I was 17 I could never see that happening, but one week after what I thought was the worst week in my life way back then, things turned around. Your time will come too, but only if you're around to enjoy it. By the way, school & exams etc seem such a distant bad memory to me now, you can get through this.

I have an 18 yr old "child" and she felt like that a lot of times! It will be better next time. Cheer up! People will be more friends to a positive person, one that will to her best to do better next time.
Try to find out what interests the other classmates have, and try to share. Smile at life and life will smile to you too!!
Any day something nice will happen, so be ready and cheerful.
Nothing is lost forever for a bad test. Good luck!!

You're classmates are just being mean. Dont sweat it!
Just dont associate with idiots!
As for your math test, just do your best! Dont compare yourself with others. Think of your test score 4/20 as a starting point.
Study hard and the next test, if the score comes up even one point, you are succeeding! Challenge yourself without comparing with other people ok? You will do fine!
Another thing! Maybe math is not your best class, but another class is what you are more interested in!
Find ways to make studying fun, and talk to your teacher to start a small study group, with people who are sincerely trying to study and do better in school, dont concentrate on what people think of you. If you let them bother you, you will become depressed! YOU ARE SPECIAL! YOU ARE LOVED!
Never think of suicide. It will only hurt the ones you love, and the ones who love you!
Keep up your spirits, my heart is with you!

I can promise you things will get better. When my daughter was upset about failing her test I said to look at it this way. On your wedding day or at the birth of your children it's really not going to matter if you failed a test or even a semester. As for friends maybe next year they'll be in your classes, but for now try & meet more people. My daughter had none of her friends in a class so I told her to go out of her way to be friendly to people she didn't know, & it worked now she has more friends. Life will get better, I promise

don't feel bad. its natural. some people are good in one thing and some are good in another. or sometimes things happen out of your control (fortuitous events) and you just could help that you fail. that is real life. what makes a better person is how that person reacts to whatever challenges life throws at him or her. look at failures as a means of knowing yourself and knowing what to do to avoid it in the future. so long as you live you have hope. only a fool thinks that life is over when failure comes. a lot of scientist have failures before they succeeded. just be sure to learn whatever you need to learn so that next time you'll know what to do. hope this helps.
