You sound like a person who starts studying one aspect of chess and jump to another without finishing the first.
Study endgame and you will improve faster than anything. Then go into tactics. Tactics will be easier due vast amount of calculation you did in endgame. These calculations will help you in calculating tactics.
After this goto chess strategy and the final is chess opening.
Don't play chess for one year. After one year enter a beginner tournament. I guarantee you will succeed.
Study games of grandmasters and see how they play from opening to endgame. I advise study long games.
Lasker (ex. world champion) said that a person can become a first class player in 5 years if he/she studies with correct plan.

Try to get used to thinking several steps ahead. That way you can begin to recognize material advantage and advantageous position on the board.
