What is the use of keeping a person alive if they are suffering (physically) with no hope of recovery AND they are asking for death? In the Netherlands euthanasia is legal after 3 doctors agree on it and a lenghly process of obtaining permission from the government. It works well (I live in Belgium and I know one person whose father-in-law did it) and I've not heard reports of abuse. If it works well there, it can work anywhere.

The only disadvantage I could see is when you request for euthanasia, everyone knows about it and your suffering is then public (although shorter).

All life is precious and even though in our world today some regard it as nothing God commands us to respect life and never to take anyone`s life from them,no matter what modernist people say, your life is your gift from God and murder`s will have to account for taking life away.
