Perhaps he misses something about you that has changed and therefore he does not see you the same way- just a guess.

Even when he sees you everyday, but still misses you.
It simply means that he wants to be with you all the time, like being together day and night, spend every minute with you.
When he goes to bed, you must be the last person he sees and the first person when he gets up.
This is being madly in love where even a slight separation will also be felt and longing to be with you. Hope it last forever.
