First of all you don't choose a best friend, that sounds like your choosing a flavor of ice cream or a topping that sounds good at that moment. To have a best friend is knowing you can totally trust them with all your heart, there family to you, you feel pain when they feel pain, your there for one another at anytime needed, someone you can tell your deepest secret to. Someone you can hug and say I love you to. I just described by best friend Sue of now 17 years to you. We are closer than me and my own sister I never had a best friend so close as her before. I am very fortunate to have her and her family. You don't choose a best friend, you love a best friend!

Hi there (",)
The friend who has lots of friends but you like a lot... does she like you a lot too?... would she see you as her best friend???
The friend with very few friends... whom you don't like as much... with this one, you have to ask yourself 'why' dont you like her as much!!!???... if she makes you feel negative, if she is negative... then please BE CAREFUL!!! she could pull you down into her rut!, even if you try to help her out, or worse (from personal experience) she could tell you to ********* no matter how nice you are to her.
I'd say... don't choose a 'best friend'. Just be friends with both of them as you feel. Some days you'd want to be around the one 24/7, other days you wont. If you choose a best friend you'd get yourself into a position to be obliged to have to be with her more and if you just feel like being alone for a while... then what do you do if she wants you there because you are 'her best friend'!!?
Don't take sides, be there for both of them.
All the best!

Best friends are different with relationship, you can have as many best friends as you like and you dont have to worry about her being other man's best friend. So why must you choose ? unless both of them quarrel then you might have to support one of them but again you can be the one that make them friends again. After all thats what best friends are for.

I would chose a friend who is trustworthy, who would never in a million years even think about going after my man no matter what! I dont care how many other friends she has or if I was her only friend, as long as she never tried anything with my man and she would tell me if he tried something on her or was cheating on me as long as she never betrayed me that way. As long as I can trust her.

Doesn't matter how many friends the other person has. Just matters how close you are. If you wanted to talk to someone about something personal, who would be the first person you went to?

Are you talking about friend or girlfriend? Think about it... It's not the same.
